and spare parts covering New Jersey, New York City, Long Island, and Philadelphia. Hoffman's export department offers our international
customers Hoffman's full range of new and used equipment for both sale and lease, technical service, and spare parts. Our award-winning
record of providing excellent sales and product support to customers have been proven over its 85 years in business.

Corporate Highlights
- 1920 - Hoffman Motor Transportation Company founded.
- 1949 - Hoffman Rigging & Crane Service, Inc. founded and company enters crane business as operator and dealer.
- 1959 - Company participates in fossil fuel power plant construction.
- 1970 - Hoffman becomes International with a crane leased in Bermuda.
- 1971 - Expansion of company's power plant construction into nuclear fuel generation.
- 1975 - Turnkey package of 300 pieces of equipment leased for Columbia, S.A. refinery project.
- 1977 - First overseas sales office established in Milan, Italy.
- 1978 - Hoffman International, Inc. world headquarters established in Piscataway, NJ.
- 1979 - Package of 175 pieces of equipment leased in pre-revolution Iran for gas pipeline project.
- 1981 - Sales office established in the Netherlands.
- 1988 - Sales office established in Cairo, Egypt.
- 1994 - Formed joint venture Russian company to sell and lease equipment in that country.
- 1996 - Company named "Exporter of the Year" for the State of New Jersey.
- 1998 - Company names "Top Ten" dealer for third consecutive year by Terex, Daewoo, and American Crane.
- 1999 - Hoffman completes $3,600,000 contract to provide emergency temporary bridges in Central America following devastation of Hurricane Mitch.
- 2000 - Company provides $4 million turnkey equipment packages to Ghana and Gabon, including provision of U.S. Export-Import Bank customer financing.
- 2001 - Hoffman Equipment provides equipment and organizes convoy to World Trade Center disaster site on September 11.
- 2002 - Timothy Watters completes purchase of Hoffman Equipment, making Hoffman a third-generation-owned company.
- 2002 - Hoffman is named the Manitowoc and Grove crane distributor for New Jersey, New York City, Long Island, and the greater Philadelphia area.
- 2003 - Hoffman opens a full service branch location in Holtsville, Long Island, New York.
- 2006 - Hoffman opens a full service branch location in Williamstown, New Jersey.
- 2007 - Hoffman moves its Long Island location from Holtsville to Medford after being named the authorized CASE distributor for New York City and Long Island.
